INTRODUCTION:

If you want to go viral, you need to be consistent, and if you want to be consistent, you need a system in place.

In this resource we go over how to create your own personal workflow, to make sure you never run out of content and you don’t get burned out.

THE BATCH METHOD:

One of the main reasons why new creators are not able to achieve great results, is the fact that they burn out too soon by trying to script, film and edit everyday.

That’s why we don’t do that.

The key element of an effective workflow is working in batch.

This means having tasks grouped and completed in set intervals or batches, rather than continuously or one at the time.

The reason why we do this is because, no matter how disciplined or organized you are, there can always be something unexpected that comes up and screws your plans.

That’s why you need a system in place that allows you not to fall behind if you miss a couple of days.

So let’s break down how we tackle the 3 main steps of content creation:

THE 3 MAIN STEPS OF CONTENT CREATION

CONTENT IDEAS & SCRIPTING

FILMING

EDITING

This is the first and the most important of the 3 steps, and it’s also the main factor that determines whether the content will be successful or not.

Content ideas and scripting are the foundation of your content and what will make or break your videos.

That’s why this is the only step we suggest you practice daily.

While editing and filming require a lot of time to setup, finding new ideas can be as simple as pulling out your phone and starting to write on your notes.

As this is the step that requires the most amount of creativity in your workflow, it’s easier to find sparks of inspiration in the day to day.

It might be an experience you have, an interesting quote you hear or even just another creator that inspires you, that makes you come up with a great idea.
